I guess a lot of designers got some memo saying that 90's grunge looks are gonna be hot for Fall 2011. Whoever sent that memo, thank you! Charlotte Ronson, Band of Outsiders & Vena Cava all sent their models down the runway in straight 90's gear. Baggy pants and sweaters, plaid, barets, beanies, maxi skirts, and layers were all the rage on the cat walk. 90's being my personal favorite era-- best music, best TV, best fashion-- I'm totally obsessed with the looks. I was even backstage at Vena Cava covering all the beauty looks with Beauty Blitz, and the 90's looks were pulled together with slick, "dirty," and scrunched hair by Ted Gibson; Finger bands by Butter London (I am currently rocking my inspired version right now!), and major glittery eyes by MAC Cosmetics. Being backstage and seeing all the looks being pulled together was insane!
